Job Position: Sales Assistant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description:

  1. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing an exceptional shopping experience and driving sales growth.
  2. Your interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and ability to build customer relationships will contribute to the store’s success and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.

Sales Generation:

  • Actively engage with customers to initiate and close sales transactions.

Product Knowledge:

  • Communicate product details effectively to customers.

Customer Service:

  1. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns courteously and professionally.
  2. Resolve customer issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
  3. Offer gift-wrapping services for customer purchasing gifts for special occasions.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store goals and create a positive work environment.
  2. Share customer feedback, trends, and insights with the team.
  3. Maintaining Store Aesthetics
  4. Assist in maintaining a visually appealing and well-organized store environment
  5. Contribute to eye-catching and kid-friendly displays to make the store inviting and appealing to children and parents.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  2. Minimum of 1 year experience
  3. Cross selling and Upselling
  4. Proven work experience as a Sales Assistant or similar role, experience with sales of kids’ product is an advantage.
  5. Strong customer interaction and interpersonal skills.
  6. Excellent Oral and written communication skills
  7. Great dress sense, level headed and comported
  8. Customer-focused mindset and ability to retain customer
  9. Familiarity with social media and relevant tools required for the job
  10. Sales-driven with a passion for meeting targets and achieving results.
  11. Energetic, enthusiastic, and a team player.
  12. Polite, friendly and sociable.
