Job Position: Sales Assistant Officer

Job Location: Mainland, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Muse africa a sister brand to Lady Biba is seeking to fill this role for a 3 months contract where the selected candidate would work hybrid(3 days in the office and 2 days remote).
  2. Greeting customers and assisting them in finding products or services they need.
  3. Advising customers on product features and benefits, and providing them with accurate information about pricing, promotions, and warranties.
  4. Assisting customers with the checkout process, including handling cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
  5. Processing returns and exchanges, and resolving customer complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
  6. Maintaining the appearance of the store, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring that merchandise is well-presented and in good condition.
  7. Performing inventory checks and restocking merchandise as needed.
  8. Collaborating with other sales staff to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  9. Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends to provide customers with accurate information.
  10. Providing feedback to management on customer preferences, buying patterns, and other market trends that could impact sales.
  11. Conducting market research to identify target audiences and create campaigns that resonate with them.
  12. Collaborating with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  13. Managing social media accounts and creating engaging content to promote the brand.
  14. Must know how to do copywriting and use wordpress

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree / HND / OND. B.Sc in Marketing or related field is a plus.
  2. Experience: 2 – 4 years
  3. Proven work experience as a Customer Success Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
  4. Understanding of the retail sales process
  5. Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  6. Track record of achieving sales quotas
  7. Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  8. Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
