Job Position: Loan Sales Executive

Job Location: Anambra

Job Description

  • The candidate will be tasked with the responsibility of selling various loan products. He/ She will act as liaison between customers and our financial institution and will help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
  2. Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
  3. Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans
  4. Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
  5. Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them
  6. Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
  7. Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy
  8. Update account records, Compute payment schedules and transactions on ERP
  9. Confer with underwriters to aid in resolving loan application problems.
  10. Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
  11. Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans
  12. Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
  13. Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty, and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process
  14. Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

Job Requirements

  1. BSc Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  2. Proven working experience as a Loan Officer
  3. Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software
  4. Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices
  5. Customer satisfaction orientation and sales competencies
  6. Ability to work in a goal-oriented environment and meet the set target

Skills / Competencies:

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Integrity and Analytical skills.
  3. Strong Negotiation and sales skills
  4. Proficient in MS packages and Software
  5. In-depth knowledge of computers, MS Packages, and banking software.
