Job Position: Sales Officer

Job Location: Oshodi, Lagos

Job Description

  1. Ensure all customers are attended to within few minute in a timely and professional manner and attending to all Customers phone calls.
  2. Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing and ensure Company is not losing money
  3. Market and convert to sales all Company Products either New products or Scrap and services to all prospective customers.
  4. Scale all scraps batteries from suppliers and record same to avoid discrepancy
  5. Ensure all racks are well stocked with products and that the Scrap warehouses are well arranged.
  6. Preparing invoice and receipt with all other Vouchers as peculiar to our business for all transactions and manage returns of merchandise with proper documentation.
  7. Participate in General Stocks taken on monthly basis
  8. Take proper records of any Cash Lodgment to Bank or withdraw from Bank and file all evidences of Bank deposit/withdrawer made on daily basis.
  9. Keep and track the stocks level through accurate stocks keeping records for New Products, Fairly Used and Scrap Inverter / Okada Battery
  10. Inform customers about discounts and special offers
  11. Provide customer feedback to the Management for seamless service delivery.
  12. Stay up-to-date with new products/services and price
  13. Prepare daily cash reconciliation showing daily expenditure and unspent cash
  14. Report all transaction details to Account on Daily, Weekly and Monthly.
  15. Ensure all discount sales are backed up by management approval before issuing stocks to Customers on Credit.
  16. Oversee and Account for all Stocks Returns In-Ward from customers and Out-Ward to Manufacturer
  17. Processing weekly and monthly report within the specified monthly deadlines.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • 1 – 2 years work experience.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.


  • Salary: N60,000 – N65,000 Monthly.
  • Successful candidates would also be entitled to quarterly sales commission.
