Job Description
- A consumer goods business located in Lekki, Lagos is looking to expand operations into the retail space and is in need of an experienced Sales Representative to increase product presence on store shelves across his/her assigned territory.
Job Responsibilities
- Use company-issued vehicle to cover sales area and ensure timely service delivery to all customers.
- Win over new customers and retain existing ones.
- Devising and presenting new ideas and strategies for the growth of our brand
- Updating customer information on the system.
- Carry out regular maintenance checks on the vehicle.
- Preparing and submitting sales orders to the Inventory Manager.
- Liaising with retail unit to ensure that all products in the store are optimally displayed.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Monitoring performance and sales level, ensuring it doesn’t go down.
- Route creation, monitoring, and development.
- Submitting daily & weekly reports of executed tasks to management.
- Maintaining a good relationship/rapport with the customers to ensure prompt payments turnaround time.
- Discovering new market/ expansion opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license.
