Job Position: Sales Support Executive (Construction / Chemical)

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Our client is seeking for a Sales Support Executive to oversee the performance and efficiency levels of the Sales Team.
  • The individual will also coordinate and oversee the flow of the company’s services or products to consumers or external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Coordinating the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
  2. Coordinating training and scheduling for sales staff
  3. Maintaining supplies of sales presentation materials, including slides and brochures
  4. Analysing customer shopping data to optimize sales efforts and better identify potential customers
  5. Entering order information into the company database with finance team.
  6. Answering client questions regarding their account or sales products
  7. Working with staff members from other departments such as marketing, research/design and financing to optimize sales
  8. Receiving and processing purchase orders.
  9. Processing of pro-formas and quotations
  10. Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.
  11. Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
  12. Directing feedback from customers to relevant departments.
  13. Identifying new products to add to those on offer.
  14. Assisting in planning, coordinating and reporting training activities
  15. Social media content management
  16. Generating leads for the sales team
  17. Responsible for product activation, in store promotion and merchandizing
  18. Responsible for branding sales retail outlets.
  19. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by line manager, other sales executives or HOD.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
  • 4 – 6 years of experience as a sales support executive/sales coordinator
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Extensive customer service experience
  • Computer Literate (Ms-Excel and Ms-PowerPoint)
  • Advanced sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyse consumer data to optimize sales efforts.
