Job Position: Senior HR Executive

Job Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Understand and implement fair employment practices and ensure compliance with regulations
  2. Responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process, including screening of resumes, interview arrangement, selection, and placement
  3. Responsible for the preparation of letters, including but not limited to letters of appointment, confirmation, promotion, etc.
  4. Update and maintain employee information in the System and personal files
  5. Management of staff training (liaise with training providers/documentation preparation/allocation & record/analysis)
  6. Oversees the training administration and grant applications.
  7. Ensure all records are updated and reports are timely and accurate
  8. Conduct an orientation program for all newly hired employees
  9. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
  10. On-boarding and induction activities
  11. Off-boarding process
  12. Manage HR operations such as preparing and maintaining personal files and records, payroll verification, tracking of service confirmation, contract expiry, etc
  13. Manage holiday calendars and leave balance
  14. Support employee engagement activities in the Company
  15. Assist to prepare monthly management manpower reports
  16. Support delivery of reports within the scope
  17. Support key activities for the whole cycle of HR e.g. annual compensation review, talent management, and FAB projects
  18. Review salary bands and benefits and make recommendations
  19. Measure employee retention and turnover rate
  20. Management of staff training (liaise with training providers/documentation preparation/allocation & record/analysis)

Job Requirements 

  1. BSc Degree in Human Resources Management or Organizational Psychology with 2 – 5 years work experience.
  2. Leadership skills
  3. Solid understanding of labor legislation
  4. Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems and ATS)
  5. Excellent communication abilities
  6. Proven work experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar role
  7. Ensure all records are updated and reports are timely and accurate
  8. Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills
  9. Possess initiative and a positive attitude
  10. Able to work independently and a good team player
  11. Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Ability in multitasking, confidence, meticulous and have excellent communication skills in managing all stakeholders, including senior management.
