Job Position: Senior HR Officer

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
  2. Coordinate with training centres for employee development and follow up until receiving training certificates.
  3. Review the employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  4. Track staffing requirements and oversee the hiring of new employees as needed.
  5. Coordinate general leave administration; this includes maintaining an annual leave calendar for leave projections, outstanding leave days, and payment of leave allowances.
  6. Maintain and update all staff personnel files; using an appropriate checklist to ensure complete documentation.
  7. Take the lead on the performance management process with the collation of mid-year and end-of-year review documentation as well as draft confirmation letters for staff who are due.
  8. Provide advice to management on employee relations issues including maintaining payment schedules and issuing memos to accounts for payment/due dates for Pension, Health Insurance, and other statutory deductions.
  9. Planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes.
  10. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  11. Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints
  12. Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.
  13. Maintain and update all staff personnel files; using an appropriate checklist to ensure complete documentation.
  14. Ensure regular updates of the HR database with information on personnel records, biodata, salaries, or promotions as well as resignations.

Job Requirements

  1. BSc in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations & Personnel Management
  2. Master’s Degree in Business Administration is an added advantage.
  3. CIPM certification is a key requirement.
  4. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, 2 of which should be an administrative role.
  5. Experience in the fashion industry is compulsory.

N200,000 monthly.
