Job Qualifications

  • The candidate must possess a PhD degree or Fellowship of National Postgraduate Medical College and its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized institution plus six (6) years post qualification teaching and research experience.
  • The candidate must also have a minimum of seven (7) publications in reputable journals with evidence of continuous research and the ability to supervise graduate students.
  • For Medical Doctors: MBBS plus possession of the final or part II of the relevant fellowship certificate FNMC/FWACS/FWACP and eight (8) reputable publications of national/international journal articles. PhD plus registration with eight (8) reputable publications of national/international journal articles out of which six (6) must be in print.

Condition of Service

  • Salary, allowances and other conditions of service attached to this position is the same as the approved Salary Structure for Federal Universities in Nigeria
