Job Position: Senior Sales Engineer – HVACR, Controls & BMS

Job Locations: Abuja (FCT) & Lagos

Job Description

  1. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Sales Engineer to join the air conditioning, Controls and BMS division of Artech2000, a leading distributor to the HVACR industry.
  2. You will be promoting their extensive range of products: CHILLERS, AHUS, VRF, RAC, PAC, Multi split systems, Controls and BMS of global brands.

Job Responsibilities

  1. To obtain specifications for Artech2000 products portfolio, through mechanical & Electrical consultants, Architects, Project Managers, end-users, and design build contractors.
  2. Responsible for prospecting and generating new business.
  3. Responsible for the full sales process from lead qualification to closing the deal
  4. Proven track record of successfully planning and executing sales targets (N500m +turn over /per year)
  5. Developing accounts and supporting the wholesale market network

Performance Measurement:

  • The successful applicant will be measured on an ongoing basis against agreed sales targets for specifications, secured products & projects.

Additional Duties, Responsibilities & Measurements:

  1. Co-ordinating tenders & submittals with designated back-office support.
  2. Promoting entire product portfolio.
  3. Input into national sales and marketing strategy, providing feedback on competitor activity, changing customer needs, etc.

Job Requirements

  1. A strong technical bias, experienced in providing a performance-based product selection service.
  2. Comfortable operating at all levels, including directors of major contractors, architects, consultants, project managers and site-based staff.
  3. Have a minimum of 6 years’ experience selling HVACR Equipment, HVACR Controls and BMS products to Contractors, Resellers and End-user.
  4. Must have previous connections and proven relationships with M&E Consultants.
  5. Strong selling skills: ability to demonstrate strong track record.
  6. Ideally a Building Services Degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with design and application knowledge of both DX System , CHW Systems( Chillers, air handling units, Fan Coils) VRF System, CHW pumps, Duct, Ventilation and Fans.
  7. You will have a high level of technical communication and presentation skills. And ability to present many approved CPDs of York/JCI, ASHREA and CISBE to M&E consultants and Contractors.
  8. Intermediate/advance use of following software is a must!
  9. AutoCAD- MEP
  10. HAP (load calculation Software)
  11. Revit
  12. Sketchup
  13. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word and Outlook, Teams, power point and Dynamic 365 CRM
  14. Valid driving licence.
  15. Be self-motivated and enjoy working on your own but also as part of a team.

N150,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
