Job Position: Social Media Manager

Job Location: Lekki Phase I, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  1. Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
  2. Monitoring the company’s brand on social media.
  3. Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers.
  4. Managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
  5. Responding to comments on each of our accounts
  6. Overseeing customer service provided via social media.
  7. Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.
  8. Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
  9. Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
  10. Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes, and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
  11. Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  12. Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  13. Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
  14. Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  15. Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  16. Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Job Requirements and Skills

  1. B.Sc Degree in Marketing or any relevant field
  2. Minimum of 2 years work experience as a Social Media Manager
  3. Hands on experience in content management
  4. Excellent copywriting skills
  5. Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  6. Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  7. Knowledge of online marketing channels
  8. Familiarity with web design
  9. Excellent communication skills
