Job Position: Social Media Marketer

Job Location: Kado, Abuja

Job Description

• To be assigned in our Abuja (FCT) / Kado office, which operates in the field of furniture and accessories production for the constantly developing and growing products, services and operations within Furniture Republic.

Job Responsibilities

1. Creating and maintaining a Social Media Marketing calendar, with targeted topics outlined for different dates, as well as a plan for where and how that content will be shared
2. Researching, writing/producing content production (written, image-based, video, etc.)
3. Creating and compiling content daily, uploading content, then tracking its performance across the many different social media platforms.
4. Monitoring brand and product-related conversations to measure sentiment, watch for PR emergencies, identify important/relevant discussions.
5. Providing crisis management, publishing corrections for bad criticism and negative news.
6. Collaborating with other departments to manage the Furniture Republic main brand name, organize promotions and increase followership on social media handles
7. Track and measure performance of all brand channels, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp.
8. Graphic design and photography capturing.
9. Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software.
10. Ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
11. Ability to create interior spaces for photo shoot and video capturing.

Job Requirements

1. B.Sc in Marketing, Business, Public Relations.
2. Must be an expert in graphic design and video capturing.
3. Must be familiar with all social media handles.
4. Must have good creative ability.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Must be able to work for long hours.
7. Physically fit to lift up to 15lbs when necessary.
8. Must be able to distinguish between colors.
9. Must be attentive to detail.
10. Must have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
