Job Title: Store Supervisor

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  1. Ensure accurate record keeping and complete documentation to confirm stock levels and maintain proper inventory control.
  2. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to audit & compliance/ accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
  3. Ensure that all materials received into the store meet the approved standards and specifications given by the company (e.g. size, quality, brand, expiration date etc)
  4. Ensure that requisitions are placed in a timely manner with procurement in line with given re-order levels to avoid stocking-out.
  5. Ensure compliance with given standards with regards to issuing of materials to outlets and central production.
  6. Supervision of central production portioning standards to ensure compliance with given recipes.
  7. Perform other stock-related duties, including returns, packing and labeling supplies.
  8. Ensure proper storage and disposal of expired products.
  9. Ensure the store adheres to FIFO & FEFO inventory management system.
  10. Notify management of any inventory or supply related problems.
  11. Ensure all supplies when received are properly and safely stored in accordance with best practice and HACCP standards.
  12. Follow all relevant operational procedures and to ensure that store activities are carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  13. Apply a physical classification system to items of similar nature, ensuring they are stored in pre-designated locations for ease of access and optimization of time and effort in material handling.
  14. Ensure supplier invoices and GRNs are forwarded to the purchasing department as soon as goods are received from suppliers.
  15. Ensure that all store records e.g. requisitions, delivery notes and bin cards are updated accurately and into the inventory management system in a timely manner.
  16. Participate in ad-hoc and scheduled stock counts as and when required.
  17. Ensure the proper placement materials or items on racks, shelves, in accordance with HACCCP standards.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Relevant experience in the restaurant, hospitality or food service industry is required.
